Dampier Primary School P&C

(Parents and Citizens Association)

The P&C enables parents and interested community members to meet to determine the needs and aspirations of the school community. P&C meetings provide an opportunity for parents to raise concerns, learn about activities at the school and have input into the decisions affecting their children.

The P&C’s main roles are to promote the interests of the school through:

  • Cooperation between parents, teachers, students and members of the general community.
  • Assisting in the provision of resources, facilities and amenities for the school or group of schools; and
  • The fostering of community interest in educational matters.

The P&C does not succeed without the dedication and participation of parents, who are prepared to step up and join the committee.

Meetings are currently held in week 4 & week 8 of each term on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 pm.
